We’re investigating issues with playing the videos on ASUS Eee Pad and Samsung Galaxy Tab Android devices; at the moment they might not play.

iPad Purchase Support

Subscription issues

You might find that the billing date and the date the next issue becomes available for download are not the same, for example you might be billed a couple of days or weeks before the issue you paid for becomes available for download. That’s because the billing cycle is a rigid fixed term, while the realities of publishing mean that sometimes an issue will run a few days behind. Don’t worry, you’ll still get the issue you paid for.

App updates

Sometimes you’ll need to use the App Store app on your iPad to ensure you’ve got the latest version of the viewer App. Simply click on ‘App Store’, then choose ‘Updates’ from the bottom of the page and ‘Update All’ in the top right to keep your apps up-to-date. If you do not do this, you won’t be able to read the latest issue (most recent update 17th June 2012).

Errors

“You Cannot Purchase This Item With This Account”

If you see this error, it means that for whatever reason the iTunes store doesn’t think you have the most up-to-date version of the app installed on your iPad, or at least that you didn’t download it while logged into the iPad under your iTunes account.

To solve it, you’ll need to remove the app from your iPad and re-install. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to download all the issues of the magazine you’ve already purchased – whether individually or via subscription – but you’ll need to download them again.
